1978-1988 Monte Carlo, El Camino & Malibu door striker repair plate.
Worn hinges cause the doors to sag and if left untreated, it often causes the striker on the b-pillar to crack. This results in difficulty latching the door properly. This repair plate fits behind the striker bolt to reinforce this area and can be welded in and painted for a permanent fix or simply use the striker bolt to hold it in place.
